The Untouched Ancient Cites
After an hour drive we will arrive in the Ancient City of Labranda, is a holy area of Zeus Labraundos, is in ancient Karia, 14 km to the north-east of Milas. The most ancient findings belong to the year 600 BC. The area that was used as holy area in the 6th and the 5th centuries and then as temple terrace consisted of a single, small, artificial terrace. Our visit will take about 1 and half hour. Then we will drive to Milas to see the Mausoleum of Hecatamnos father of Mausoleus which is still getting excavated. Then after short walk through old ottoman houses we will have lunch in Milas. Then we will drive aprox. an hour to the Ancient City Miletos Milet (Miletus) was a great Ionian port like Priene as well as the birthplace of several philosophers and sages. where we will stay around one and half hour. Then after a half hour drive we will be at the Ancient Temple of Apollo. (Didyma) boasts only one single monument, it is nevertheless a marvellous site.
